Your Cardinal Account connects your self-hosted apps to Cardinal's cloud, enabling powerful free and paid features in your apps. Cloud accounts are also the social bridge between users, allowing people to share their personal media with each other.
Cardinal Accounts are free to create and use with your apps; and whether you are on the free plan or a paid one, your self-hosted apps will gain access to new features and benefit from enhancements to security.

Hardened Security
Using a Cardinal Account will strengthen the authentication layer of your self-hosted apps.
